Akasa Air to start direct flights from Delhi to Darbhanga on April 4

Domestic airline Akasa Air is now going to start connecting Darbhanga Airport in Bihar to other cities of the country from April 4. Akasa Air will start flights connecting Hyderabad and Delhi to Darbhanga in Bihar from April 4.

According to PTI news, after this start, it will become the 28th destination for the airline. Akasa Air said in a release on Thursday that the airline will operate daily flights between Hyderabad and Darbhanga via Delhi (there will be no need to change aircraft in Delhi) which will increase connectivity between the tourist center and two major metropolises.

Airline fleet

According to the news, the airline has flights to 23 domestic and 5 international destinations. It has a fleet of 27 Boeing 737 Max aircraft. The airline has started booking flights for these new routes. Booking can be done through the airline’s website, app or travel agent.

These industrialists have also invested

Industrialist Azim Premji’s global investment arm and the family office of Manipal Group chief Ranjan Pai have invested an undisclosed amount to buy a stake in the country’s newest aviation service Akasa Air. The promoter Jhunjhunwala family has also pledged to infuse more funds into Akasa. Agreements have been signed with leading investors to infuse fresh capital into Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, the statement said.
