Indian Railways: Vande Bharat trains are being run on various routes across the country. In the last six years, almost all the states have got Vande Bharat. However, now the sleeper Vande Bharat is being eagerly awaited and its wait may end soon. At the same time, good news is also being received continuously on chair car Vande Bharat trains. Vande Bharat trains may soon start on new routes.
According to ‘News First Live’, Vande Bharat train can run between Belgaum and Bangalore from the first week of April. However, this train will be the same which is currently running between Bangalore and Dharwad. There is a plan to extend it and run it till Belgaum. This will benefit millions of people. Vande Bharat is expected to run between Belgaum and Bangalore from April.
Recently, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi and BJP MP Jagdish Shettar had met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav regarding the extension of Vande Bharat from Bengaluru to Dharwad to Belgaum . Only after this, it was felt that the train could be run till Belgaum. A trial run of Vande Bharat train has also been done between Dharwad and Belgaum. For this, Belgaum station is also being renovated. The Vande Bharat train which will run between Belgaum and Bengaluru will be numbered 20661 and 20662.
Recently, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi had said that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav responded positively to his request to extend the existing Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat train to Belgaum. He wrote, “A few days ago, a meeting was held in Hubli with the General Manager of South Western Region of Railways and other senior officials to discuss the pros and cons. As a result of our continuous efforts, the Union Railway Minister has taken note of the issue and responded positively. He has responded positively to extend the Vande Bharat train currently running between Bengaluru and Dharwad to Belgaum soon.”
