IndiGo Special Flight: IndiGo Airlines is going to start a new flight soon. For this new flight, IndiGo has ordered a special plane from Norse Atlantic. Currently, this wide body plane of Boeing B-787-9 make has been taken on temporary lease. Also, under the promise of ‘India by IndiGo’, the airline has made some special arrangements to make the passenger’s journey memorable.
According to the airlines, special food prepared by the chefs of Oberoi Catering Services will be served in this flight along with IndigoStretch facility. Apart from this, passengers will be able to enjoy specially designed drinks by India’s indigenous brand Sula Vineyards in this flight. Let us tell you here that this flight being started by Indigo will be operated between Delhi and Bangkok.
Regarding this flight, IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers says that after seeing positive and encouraging results in the domestic sector, the airline is launching IndiGo Stretch in the international sector as well. As per the promise of India by IndiGo, the airline is going to provide premium services to IndiGo Stretch customers, which includes food from Oberoi Catering Services and delicious drinks from Sula.
What is special in this plane?
Let us tell you that earlier this year, IndiGo signed a lease agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways for Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This leased wide body plane has a double-aisle design, which has 56 IndiGoStretch seats in a comfortable 2x3x2 configuration with a seat pitch of 43 inches. The economy class has 282 seats in a 3x3x3 configuration. These seats with 31 inch seat pitch are capable of providing a comfortable travel experience.
What is Indigo Stretch
In November 2024, IndiGo launched a special facility called IndigoStretch on its commercial routes in India. IndigoStretch passengers get benefits like anytime boarding, advance seat selection and zero service fee with priority check-in. Indigo Stretch passengers are allowed to carry one bag up to 12 kg in the cabin with extra baggage allowance starting from 30 kg at check-in.
When will this flight start?
According to IndiGo, the flight number flying from Delhi to Bangkok will be 6E 1053. This flight will take off from Delhi at 10 am and reach Bangkok at 3:45 pm. The flight coming from Bangkok will be 6E 1054. This flight will take off from Bangkok at 5:45 pm and land at Delhi airport at 8:55 pm. The operation of this flight will start from March 1. Booking for this flight has started from today.
