The central government’s Ayushman Bharat scheme is going to start in Delhi as well. The cabinet has approved this scheme in Delhi. After the formation of the government on Thursday, the first cabinet meeting of BJP was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. In which Ayushman Bharat Scheme has been approved. Under the Ayushman scheme, free treatment facility up to Rs 10 lakh is provided.
What will be available under Ayushman Yojana?
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that under this scheme, Delhi beneficiaries will get free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh. In this, health coverage of Rs 5 lakh will be provided by the Delhi government and Rs 5 lakh by the central government. Ayushman card holders will be able to get treatment up to Rs 10 lakh in any private hospital empanelled under Delhi government and central government health scheme.
Who will get the benefit?
Talking about the criteria of Ayushman Yojana, all other senior citizens aged 70 years and above will be given a cover of up to Rs 10 lakh per year on family basis. On the other hand, if they are already covered by any scheme, then also they will be given a cover of Rs 5 lakh under this scheme. Apart from this, even if you are taking advantage of health insurance or private health insurance, you can still avail the benefit of Rs 5 lakh annually under the new card of Ayushman Yojana.
How to apply under Ayushman Bharat Yojana?Â
- First of all go to the official website https://abdm.gov.in/.Â
- Now the eligible person will have to get his Aadhar card or ration card verified at the PMJAY kiosk.Â
- After this, the family certificate will have to be presented and complete details will have to be filled. Â
- Now you can print your e-card with AB-PMJAY ID.Â
How many members of a family can get a card?
When a scheme is launched by the government, it also releases details related to eligibility. In this government scheme, no such limit has been set to provide convenience to the needy. That is, as many people as want in a family can get Ayushman cards made, but all these family members should be eligible for this scheme.Â
