The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Bank Holiday List for February. Let us tell you that on 26 February, there is a holiday in most places across the country on the holy festival of Mahashivratri.   • February 3 (Monday): Saraswati Puja – Banks, schools, offices will remain closed in Agartala.
  • February 11 (Tuesday): Thai Poosam – Schools and banks closed in Chennai.
  • February 12 (Wednesday): Guru Ravidas Jayanti – Bank and school holiday in Shimla.
  • February 15 (Saturday): Lui-Ngai-Ni – This is the third Saturday of the month, which means banks will remain open across the country, but schools, banks and offices will remain closed in Imphal.
  • February 19 (Wednesday): Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti – Schools, banks and offices will remain closed in Belapur, Mumbai and Nagpur.
  • February 20 (Thursday): Statehood Day/State Formation Day – Banks and schools holiday in Aizawl and Itanagar.
  • February 26 (Wednesday): Mahashivratri – Schools, colleges, banks and offices will be closed in most parts of the country including Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad – Telangana, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram.
  • February 28 (Friday): Losar – Gangtok Schools and banks will remain closed.
