The US Citizenship and Immigration Services Department (USCIS) has announced the application dates for H-1B visa for the year 2026. According to this announcement, applications can be made from March 7 to March 24.
It is worth noting that Indians are also among the biggest beneficiaries of H-1B visa. H-1B visa is an immigrant visa, which allows American companies to hire foreign skilled workers. Through this visa, American technology companies employ thousands of skilled employees from countries like India, China etc. every year.
Know how much fee will have to be paid for the application
USCIS said that the applicant has to apply online on the USCIS website. The application fee will be $215. Indians are among the biggest beneficiaries of H-1B visa. Every year about 6.5 lakh foreign skilled workers are approved to work in America through H-1B visa. The US Immigration Department said that some provisions have been made in the application process to reduce fraud in the selection of applicants.
