IMD rain alert! There will be heavy rain in these states for the next 5 days

A new western disturbance is going to hit the country on February 8, due to which a new round of rain is expected in the western Himalayan regions for five days i.e. from February 8-12. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a change in the weather in North India. The IMD has predicted that light to heavy rains may occur in Delhi-NCR and parts of Uttar Pradesh in the next two to three days, which will lead to a drop in temperature.

Rain alert in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam will receive rain on February 7. At the same time, a new western disturbance is going to knock from February 8, due to which there will be rain in the western Himalayan regions between February 8-12. After the next 24 hours, the weather will change in Northwest India and Maharashtra and the minimum temperature will increase by three degrees. IMD has also predicted rain in various districts of Punjab and Haryana in the next two to three days.

How was the weather in the last 24 hours?

Talking about the last 24 hours, dense fog was seen in Himachal Pradesh, western Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, while a drop in temperature was recorded in Uttarakhand. Also, rain and snowfall was seen in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand.

How is the weather condition in Delhi?

The IMD said that due to the western disturbance, there will be light rain in Delhi-NCR in the next two days. The national capital recorded above normal temperatures in January compared to previous years, but the winter season is not over yet. The IMD also said that dense fog will prevail in Delhi for the next few days.
