School Holidays in February 2025: The second month of the year, February, has 28 days. Even before the start of February 2025, everyone has started looking at the holiday calendar. February 2 (Sunday): Basant Panchami (Restricted Holiday) – This is a Restricted Holiday, but since it is a Sunday, all schools, colleges and offices will remain closed. In some schools, children may be invited for special puja.
February 12 (Wednesday): Guru Ravidas Jayanti ( Restricted Holiday ) – After Guru Ravidas Jayanti, there will be a holiday in many schools on February 24 (Monday). (Restricted Holidays in February 2025).
February 19 (Wednesday): Shivaji Jayanti (Restricted Holiday) – Most schools and other educational institutions in Maharashtra remain closed on this occasion.
February 26 (Wednesday): Maha Shivratri (Gazetted Holiday) – This is one of the major festivals of Hinduism. Schools remain closed on the occasion of Shivratri in most states.
Weekends in February 2025: How many Saturdays and Sundays in February?
Out of the 28 days in February 2025, 8 will be weekends. Most schools will have Saturday holidays on February 1, 8, 15 and 22. Some schools have holidays on the second or last Saturday of the month. You can confirm your holiday details with the school. Apart from these days, there will be weekly holidays in schools on February 2, 9, 16 and 23, 2025 i.e. Sundays.
