School Holidays- Schools have been closed in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Basic Education Officer Shalini has issued an order announcing the closure of all schools up to class 8 till January 31.
The reason for the closure of schools is being said to be bad weather. The Education Department has taken this decision under the orders of District Magistrate Divya Mittal. The orders state that the Meteorological Department (School Closing Date Extends in Deoria) has given an alert of severe cold and dense fog in Uttar Pradesh for the next 5 days.
Therefore, it has been decided to close schools so that children do not fall ill in the cold. Teachers will have to come to school regularly and children’s classes will be held online so that their studies are not affected. The orders have said that transport services will also be affected due to fog, so teachers should arrange their vehicles and travel safely to reach school. If anyone faces any difficulty in commuting, they should inform the department so that arrangements can be made for commuting.
According to the Meteorological Department’s alert, there will be dense fog and severe cold in Uttar Pradesh for the next 5 days due to an active Western Disturbance. The Meteorological Department has predicted fog in Shahjahanpur, Bahraich, Basti, Kushinagar Deoria, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Balrampur, Gonda, Shravasti, Pilibhit, Sitapur, Bijnor, Rampur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Shahjahanpur and Lakhimpur Kheri. Due to this, the minimum temperature may drop by 2 degrees in the next 2 days.
According to the Meteorological Department report, Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh is experiencing the coldest weather. On Sunday, January 26, the minimum temperature was recorded here at 5.5 degrees. The maximum temperature in the entire state was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius in Varanasi. The minimum temperature in Furstganj was 5.9, in Etawah 6, in Churak 6.2, in Muzaffarnagar 7.2, in Kanpur 6.4, in Bareilly 7.1 and in Bulandshahr 7.2 degrees Celsius.
