School Closed: In view of the cold wave and severe cold, all government and private schools up to class 8 in Patna, the capital of Bihar, have been closed till January 25.
On Thursday, District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh has issued an order in this regard. It has been told in the order that till January 25, children up to class 8 will remain closed in schools and classes above class 8 will be conducted after 9 am.
The decision was taken because of this
In the order issued by Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh, it has been said that due to severe cold in Patna, there is a possibility of adverse effect on the health of children. Children may fall ill. As a precaution, the administration has issued an order to stop educational activities up to class 8 in all private and government schools and Anganwadi centers of Patna district till next Saturday i.e. 11 January.

Patna Meteorological Center has released a forecast for the next 24 hours on Thursday regarding the weather of Bihar. It has been told that dense fog will continue in Bhojpur, Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Araria, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui, Banka and Bhagalpur districts of Bihar. During this time, cold winds can also blow in some areas. Due to which a drop in temperature can be recorded.
