Electricity Bill: Punjab Electricity Board bills are now available in Punjabi language. In fact, till now, all the mechanical bills sent by Punjab Electricity Board every month were in English language due to which the common people had difficulty in reading them.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court was approached regarding this matter. After this, the hearing started in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Now the High Court has disposed of this petition.

The bills will be issued in both languages by the employees of Punjab Electricity Board. Now bills have started coming in Punjabi language as well. The bills of the Electricity Board will be available in Punjabi language so that these bills can be understood by the common people. Apart from this, if anyone requests to send the bill in English, then he will be given the bill in this language.
