Ahmedabad Udaipur Vande Bharat: Indian Railways is going to launch a new Vande Bharat Express train soon. This train will connect Ahmedabad to Udaipur. This train will be started after the electrification of the Ahmedabad-Himmatnagar-Udaipur route is successful.
It is expected that it will start operating by the end of January or February. With Vande Bharat Express, passengers will experience faster and more comfortable travel than traditional options.
The train will run six days a week
It is being told that the train will run six days a week. The train will not operate on Tuesday. The train will depart from Udaipur at 6:10 am and after a two-minute stoppage at Himmatnagar, it will reach Ahmedabad at 10:25 am. On the return journey, this train will depart from Ahmedabad at 5:45 pm and reach Udaipur at 10 pm. The train journey in Ahmedabad will start and end from Asarwa railway station.
The express will have eight AC chair car coaches.
Designed for a comfortable journey, the Vande Bharat Express will have eight AC chair car coaches. Passengers traveling in the train will get a premium experience. The travel time between Ahmedabad and Udaipur will be around four hours. Currently, it takes five hours to reach Ahmedabad from Udaipur by road. After the start of the train, passengers from the Mewar region will especially benefit, as the train can reach Ahmedabad airport.
Tourism and travel professionals in Udaipur are very excited
about the new Vande Bharat Express. After the start of the train, tourism and pilgrimage related work is expected to get a boost in the area. Temples like Shrinathji and Eklingji are expected to see a large number of people visiting them. However, some people also suggest that keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the train timings should be decided according to the hotel check-in time and the time of temple darshan.
