The government has given another good news to the Central Government Employees even before the official announcement on the Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) to be increased from July in the festive season. Under the new rule, Central Government employees can travel by Tejas Express on tour / training / transfer / retirement. Traveling in Tejas Express will be considered at par with Shatabdi train.
You will be able to travel by Tejas Express
Information related to this has been given in the Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Expenditure (DoE) on 12 September 2022. In the office memorandum, it has been agreed to travel by Tejas Express.
The central government has also given its approval. Now central employees will be able to travel by Tejas Express during tour / training / transfer / retirement. Let us tell you that in the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, the information related to traveling allowance has been shown in the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016.
Ticket reimbursement permission
As per the 2017 Office Memorandum, it was decided to allow government officials to travel by premium trains / premium Tatkal trains / Suvidha trains. Apart from this, the department had also allowed the charge of premium tatkal and reimbursement of dynamic/flexi tickets in Shatabdi/Rajdhani/Duronto trains during official tour/training.
Who is eligible to travel in which class
- Â Pay Level 12 and above in Pay Matrix : Executive / AC Ac 1st Class / Premium Tatkal / Suvidha / Shatabdi / Rajdhani Train.
- Â Pay Level 6 and above in Pay Matrix : AC 2nd Class / Chair Car (Shatabdi Train)
- Pay Level 5 and above in Pay Matrix : AC 3rd Class / Chair Car
Soon 38 percent dearness allowance will be stamped!
On the other hand, the central employees are also waiting for the increase in dearness allowance. Dearness allowance of government employees is due from July. An increase of 4 percent is believed to be fixed in this. But till now no official statement has been given by the government on this.
At present, central employees get 34 percent dearness allowance. After an increase of 4 percent, it will become 38 percent. An announcement on this is expected from the government on September 28.
