A ruckus has started regarding the Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana started by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. The Health Department and Women and Child Welfare Department of the Delhi Government have issued separate public notices saying that there is no such scheme in the state yet.
In such a situation, no citizen should share his personal information with anyone. Actually, this whole matter has happened after the registration for Mahila Samman Yojana was started three days ago in Delhi. In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party workers are going door to door and getting people to fill the forms for this scheme. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal himself started this scheme.
Under this scheme, Arvind Kejriwal had said that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi’s government will provide assistance of Rs 1000 per month to the women of the Union Territory. Along with this, with the formation of AAP government again in Delhi, the assistance amount under this scheme will be increased to Rs 2100. Now the Women and Child Welfare Department of Delhi has said in a public notice that the government does not have any such scheme.
Ruckus over Sanjeevani
Along with this, Arvind Kejriwal has started Sanjeevani Yojana for the treatment of elderly people in Delhi. Under this scheme, there is a provision for completely free treatment for elderly people above 60 years of age. A notice issued by the Health Department of Delhi Government has also warned about this scheme.
Arvind Kejriwal’s statement has come regarding this. He has said that these people are badly upset with the Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana. They have made a plan to arrest Atishi by making a fake case in the next few days. Before that, raids will be conducted on senior AAP leaders. He also said that he will hold a press conference on this issue at 12 o’clock.
Regarding these schemes, BJP leader Bansuri Swaraj has said that AAP makes such fake promises. It had made a similar announcement in Punjab too but today not even a single rupee has been given to the women.
