Sanjeevani Yojana: The Delhi government has launched Sanjeevani Yojana for senior citizens, which will provide free health services to Delhiites aged 60 years and above.
The registration for this scheme has started from today and under this, senior citizens will get treatment facility without any cost. The aim of this scheme is to free the senior citizens of Delhi from any kind of worry related to medical services.
Benefits of Sanjeevani Yojana
- Free health services: Under the scheme, senior citizens aged 60 years and above will get free treatment in government and private hospitals. This will include all medical services from general health checkup to treatment of serious diseases.
- No limit on medical expenses: There is no maximum limit on medical expenses under this scheme. Due to which senior citizens will not have to bear any financial burden even in the treatment of serious diseases.
Application process for Sanjeevani Yojana
The registration process for Sanjeevani Yojana has started today, Monday, 23 December. The Delhi government team will go door-to-door to register senior citizens. In this process, senior citizens will not have to stand in any kind of line and the entire process will be easy and convenient. After registration, they will be provided a card which they can show in hospitals and avail the services.
