New Delhi: Before the Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has opened its box for the people. First for women, then for the elderly and now for children, former Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement.
He has announced Ambedkar Scholarship. He further said that today I wish that no child from the Dalit community should be deprived of higher education due to lack of money.
While launching the scholarship, Arvind Kejriwal said that three days ago Amit Shah made fun of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Even when Baba Saheb was alive, people used to make fun of him throughout his life. Parliament exists because of Baba Saheb and nobody would have thought that Parliament would be made fun of.
‘I wish that no child from Dalit community…’
The former Chief Minister of Delhi further said that we condemn it but in response to it, I am making a big announcement in honour of Baba Saheb. Today I wish that no child from Dalit community should be deprived of higher education due to lack of money.
He further said, “Today I announce the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship. Under this scholarship, if any child from the Dalit community wants to study in any top university in the world, then that child should take admission in that university and the Delhi government will bear all the expenses of his studies.”
