In Punjab too, the effect of snowfall will be seen in the hilly areas. The mercury will fall in Punjab, which will further increase the cold.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that cold wave will continue in many districts of West Bengal till December 15. IMD has issued an alert to alert the people. According to meteorologists, the situation in the western parts of West Bengal may worsen. The speed of northwest and north winds in this region is higher than normal. Due to this, the temperature in the western parts of the state has gone below normal.
The cold wave has also increased due to the drop in temperature. Amidst all this, a warning has been issued regarding the cold wave. People have been advised to be careful till Sunday.
