Christmas Special Trains: If you are planning to go out for holidays with friends or family on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, then let us tell you that you will not have to struggle a lot to get a confirmed train ticket. Central and Western Railways have announced about 64 special trains keeping in mind the convenience of passengers.Â

1. CSMT-Karmali-CSMT Daily Special – 34 services
- 01151 Special will depart from Mumbai CSMT daily at 00.20 hrs from 20.12.2024 to 05.01.2025 and reach Karmali at 13.30 hrs on the same day. (17 services)
- 01152 Special will depart from Karmali daily at 14.15 hrs from 20.12.2024 to 05.01.2025 and reach Mumbai CSMT next day at 03.45 hrs. (17 services)
This train will stop at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal and Thivim en route. It has 1 AC First Class, 1 AC First Class cum AC-2 Tier, 3 AC-2 Tier, 11 AC-3 Tier, 2 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 Luggage cum Guard Brake Vans.
2 LTT-Kochuveli-LTT Weekly Special – 8 Service
- 01463 Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Thursday from 19.12.2024 to 09.01.2025 at 16.00 hrs and reach Kochuveli at 22.45 hrs the next day. (4 services)
- 01464 Special will depart from Kochuveli every Saturday from 21.12.2024 to 11.01.2025 at 16.20 hrs and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.45 hrs on third day. (4 services)
This train will stop at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Junction, Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road, Baindur, Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Thokkur, Mangaluru Junction, Kasargod, Kannur, Calicut, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikkara, Kayamkulam and Kollam en route. 3 Pune-Karmali-Pune Weekly Special (6 Services)
- 01407 Special will depart from Pune every Wednesday from 25.12.2024 to 08.1.2025 at 05.10 hrs and reach Karmali at 20.25 hrs on the same day. (3 services)
- 01408 Special will depart from Karmali every Wednesday from 25.12.2024 to 08.1.2025 at 22.20 hrs and reach Pune next day at 13.00 hrs. (3 services)

4. Train No. 09412/09411 Ahmedabad – Thivim Special (Bi-weekly) (16 trips)
- Train number 09412 Ahmedabad – Thivim Special will depart from Ahmedabad every Sunday and Wednesday at 14.10 hrs and reach Thivim at 11.00 hrs the next day. This train will run from 8 December 2024 to 1 January 2025.Â
- Train number 09411 Thivim-Ahmedabad Special will leave Thivim every Monday and Thursday at 11.40 am and reach Ahmedabad at 08.45 am the next day. This train will run from December 9, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
