Step 1
If you have not updated your Aadhaar card yet, you can get it updated
This work is currently being done online for free and after 14 December 2024, you may have to pay a fee.
To update your Aadhaar card, you have to visit the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
You need to go here and login
Step 2
To login you have to click on login and then enter your 12 digit Aadhaar card number
After filling the Aadhaar number, you have to fill the captcha code given on the screen
After this, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number i.e. the number linked to your Aadhaar card, enter it here.
Now the dashboard will open in front of you
Step 3
After this, you will see many options here, out of which you have to click on the option of ‘Update Aadhaar Card’
Now here you have to upload two documents
In this, you have to upload a photo ID and an address proof which are verified by the department and if these are correct then the Aadhaar update is done successfully.

Select your desired document and upload it here.
Keep in mind that the size of the document should not exceed 2 MB
Then within a few days your Aadhar card gets updated.
