Schools Holiday: Karnataka has been receiving continuous rain for the past few days. Due to continuous rain in Mysore district since Sunday, Anganwadis, schools and colleges in the district will remain closed on Monday.

Taking precautionary measures, Mysore District Commissioner G Lakshmikant Reddy has issued an order to keep Anganwadis, schools and pre-university colleges closed on Monday. The district has been receiving continuous heavy rain for the past 24 hours. In such a situation, the Mysore district administration has taken precautionary measures.

Schools and colleges closed due to heavy rains

Due to the continuous rain in Mysore, common people are facing a lot of problems. Due to waterlogging, there is a huge traffic jam on the roads. After heavy rains, a holiday has been declared in all schools and colleges in Mandya, Kolar, Chamarajanagar and Chikkaballapur in Karnataka on Monday.

IMD issued heavy announcement

It is raining continuously in Mandya district. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains on December 2, in view of which a holiday has been declared in all schools and pre-university colleges to ensure the safety of children and students. However, Mandya DC Dr. Kumar says that classes will be conducted throughout the day on the coming Saturday. It is raining due to cyclone Fengal and will continue further.
