However, to avail the facility of ration, it is necessary to have a ration card. If you do not have a ration card, then you cannot get the facility of ration available at a low price. By using the ration card, you can not only avail the facility of ration but also take advantage of many other schemes. The Rajasthan government is providing LPG gas cylinders to ration card holders at a price of just Rs 450. Let’s know about it in detail –
Under this scheme, the Rajasthan government will provide gas cylinders to the ration card holders of the state at a cheap price. For this, the ration card holders will have to pay only Rs 450.
You should know that till now gas cylinder was given under Ujjwala Yojana for Rs 450. However, now those people in Rajasthan who have ration card will also be able to take advantage of this scheme.
To avail this facility, ration card holders will have to link their LPG ID to the ration card. Only after linking the LPG ID to the ration card will they be able to avail this facility.
In Rajasthan, more than one crore families are taking advantage of ration facility at low price under National Food Security Act. Around 37 lakh families are getting the benefit of gas cylinder at Rs. 450 under Ujjwala Yojana. Under this scheme of Rajasthan government, now around 68 lakh families of the state will be given gas cylinder at the price of Rs. 450 on ration card.
