Schools Closed in Delhi NCR- Like every year, this year also the level of pollution has increased in Delhi since October. The Delhi government has implemented GRAP 4 (GRAP 4 in Delhi NCR) with immediate effect.
Accordingly, all schools have been closed and classes have been shifted to online mode. After Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, now there is news of closure of schools due to air pollution from one district of Rajasthan. The special thing is that this district of Rajasthan is at a short distance from Delhi. The name of this district of Rajasthan is Khairthal Tijara. A decision has been taken to close schools in this district due to air pollution. This is the first time that schools have to be closed due to air pollution in Rajasthan. Along with Delhi, cities like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Meerut are recording AQI i.e. Air Quality Index above 500.
In view of this situation, most of the officials of the districts around Delhi have decided to close the schools there as well. Now classes will be online in Delhi as well as in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Haryana. Not only this, the classes of Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University have also been suspended.
UP Schools Closed:
How long will schools remain closed in Noida and Ghaziabad?
All schools in Noida have been ordered to remain closed till November 23, 2024 in view of increasing pollution. Classes will be online till 23rd in all schools in Noida. Noida DM Manish Verma has released this information. Along with this, District Magistrate of Ghaziabad Inder Vikram Singh has also decided to conduct classes up to 12th standard in Ghaziabad in online mode till further orders due to rising pollution levels and implementation of GRAP 4 (School Holidays).
Meerut Schools Closed:
Schools closed in Meerut in view of increasing pollution, the District Magistrate of Meerut has ordered to postpone classes from November 19 till further orders and conduct classes through online medium. This order is for all classes from Nursery to 12th. Along with this, all coaching centers in Meerut have also been closed till further orders. Meerut District Magistrate Deepak Meena has issued these instructions. Schools have also been closed in Hapur.
Haryana Schools Closed:
The effect has reached Haryana as well, due to pollution, Haryana’s air has also become like poison. For this reason, schools in Gurugram and Faridabad have also been closed. Classes up to class 12 here have been suspended till further orders. In this situation, education will be conducted online in all schools. With this, school children will not need to go out of the house and they will be able to take care of their health. At present, orders have been given only till 23 November 2024 in most places.
