Ration Card Cancelled: All those ration card holders who have not completed the e-KYC process by this date, the names of all those ration card holders will be removed from the ration card.
The central government of India brings many schemes for the needy and poor citizens of the country. These include different types of schemes. Crores of people of the country benefit from these schemes.
There are many people in India who are living below the poverty line. Many such people do not have money even for two meals a day. The Indian government provides ration to such people at a low price.
For this, the government also issues ration cards to these people under the National Food Security Act. With the help of ration card, one can avail ration at a lower price at the nearest government ration shops.
A few months ago, the government had issued a guideline for getting e-KYC done for ration card holders. In which it was made mandatory for all ration card holders to get e-KYC done. The last date for this was also fixed.
The government had earlier set the deadline for this till September 1. But later it was extended to November 1. And now the deadline for e-KYC for ration card holders has been extended to December 1.
All those ration card holders who have not completed the process of e-KYC by 1 December 2024. The names of all those ration card holders will be removed from the ration card and the ration cards of those people will be cancelled.
If you have not yet completed the e-KYC process of your ration card, then you can go to any nearest government ration distribution shop in your area and get e-KYC done through POS machine.
