The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of all officers and employees. CM Mohan Yadav said that its congratulations become double when it is also Diwali and on this occasion there is also a program of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. The government has increased the dearness allowance of the employees by four percent. Now the employees of the state will get 50 percent dearness allowance. While talking to reporters, the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the increased dearness allowance will be available from January 1, 2024.

The state employees were currently getting 46 percent dearness allowance. Earlier, the amount of increase in dearness allowance of the employees was paid as arrears. Now all government employees will get 50 percent dearness allowance from January 1, 2024. The Chief Minister said that this is a time of double happiness for the employees of the state, because along with Diwali, November 1 is also the foundation day of the state.

It is known that the employees of the state had been demanding an increase in dearness allowance for a long time. The central government has increased the dearness allowance of its employees to 53 percent. At the same time, the employees of the state were getting only 46 percent dearness allowance till now. Various employee organizations had even warned of lockout regarding their demands.
