Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarpu Ram Mohan Naidu inaugurated the new Air India Express daily flight connecting Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada at Visakhapatnam International Airport.
After this flight, the journey from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada will be completed in one hour. It is worth noting that from Visakhapatnam, Air India Express operates 28 weekly flights that directly connect three domestic destinations Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada flight time table
Air India Express’ daily flights from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada depart from Visakhapatnam at 9:35 am. The flight reaches Vijayawada at 10:35 am. The return flight departs from Vijayawada at 7:55 pm and reaches Visakhapatnam at 9:00 pm. Let us tell you that from Vijayawada, Air India Express operates 23 weekly flights that directly connect to three domestic destinations Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam and one international destination Sharjah.

Speaking at the inauguration of the flight, Union Minister K. Ramamohan Naidu said, “The new daily flights between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada by Air India Express will cater to the needs of both the cities. The flight service will enhance access for business, education and tourism.” Air India Express MD Alokesh Singh said, “With a rapidly growing fleet of around 90 aircraft, we are committed to meeting the connectivity needs of a dynamic economy.”

From Visakhapatnam, the airline offers one-stop connectivity to 21 domestic destinations: Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Srinagar, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram and Varanasi and three international destinations: Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. From Vijayawada, Air India Express offers one-stop connectivity to 15 domestic destinations: Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram and Varanasi.
