Diwali will be celebrated on 30 and 31 October, but there will be a long list of festivals in November as well. During this time, there will be bank holidays in various states on the occasion of major festivals like Govardhan, Bhai Dooj, and Chhath.

- 3 November 2024 (Sunday) – Banks closed on the occasion of Bhai Dooj.
- 9 November 2024 (Saturday) – Second Saturday, banks closed.
- 10 November 2024 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday.
- 15 November 2024 (Friday) – Banks holiday on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
- 17 November 2024 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday.
- 23 November 2024 (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday, banks closed.

Will banks remain closed on Chhath festival?
Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Chhath festival, but this holiday will not be in all states.
Banks will be closed in Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan on November 7, 2024.
Banks will be closed in West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar on November 8, 2024 due to Chhath festival.
What can you do if banks are closed?
If banks are closed in your city, then things like depositing drafts or cheques cannot be done. But ATM and online banking services will be available for other banking services like cash withdrawal, transactions etc. You can withdraw money from ATM with debit card or transfer money through online banking.
So, if you have to do any banking work in November, plan your work keeping these holidays in mind.
