UAE’s new visa-on-arrival policy for Indians, know who is eligible and how to apply

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced a new Visa-on-Arrival policy, making it even easier for Indian travelers to travel. Under this new policy, Indian citizens fulfilling certain conditions can enter the UAE without any prior approval.

Who is eligible

Indian citizens who have a valid visa, residence permit or green card of the US, United Kingdom or any European Union country are eligible for this Visa-on-Arrival.

Passport validity

To get a visa, it is necessary that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.

Visa duration

Under this visa, the passenger will get a 14-day visa on reaching UAE.

Option to extend stay

If a passenger wants to extend his stay in UAE, he can extend it for 60 days. For this, the prescribed fee has to be paid.

No pre-approval required

Passengers who meet the eligibility conditions will not need to get pre-approval of visa before travel.

Available at all major airports

This Visa-on-Arrival facility will be available at all major airports in UAE, so that passengers will not face much trouble.

Payment for stay extension

Passengers extending their stay for more than 14 days will have to obtain a visa extension by paying the fee while staying in UAE.

Easy visa process for Indians

In February, Emirates airline in collaboration with VFS Global started the Pre-approved Visa-on-Arrival service for Indian citizens. Also, in the same month, Dubai also started giving five-year Multiple-entry Visa to Indian citizens.

With this policy, travelling to UAE will become even easier for Indian citizens.
