New Delhi-Srinagar Vande Bharat: Indian Railways is now continuously moving towards modernity. In the year 2019, Vande Bharat Express train was launched in India. It is the fastest train in India. Earlier this title used to be with Delhi Bhopal Shatabdi.
From the year 2019 to September 14, 2024, 60 Vande Bharat trains have been started in India. These trains cover more than 280 districts of 24 states and union territories.
The fare of Vande Bharat train is slightly higher than that of normal AC trains. Now Indian Railways is also bringing a sleeper version of Vande Bharat Express. Vande Bharat Sleeper will run from Delhi to Srinagar
India’s Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav unveiled the prototype of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train in September 2024. Now India is expected to get the first Vande Bharat Sleeper train by January 2025. This train will run between Delhi and Srinagar. This train will be run under the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link i.e. USBRL project. The distance of 800 km will be covered in less than 13 hours through Vande Bharat Sleeper. According to a senior railway official, at present it will run from Delhi to Srinagar, later its operation will be extended to Baramulla.
This will be the route of the train
Talking about the route of New Delhi-Srinagar Vande Bharat Sleeper Train, between Delhi and Srinagar this train will stop at Ambala Cantt Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Kathua, Jammu Tawi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Sangaldan and Banihal stations. The train will depart from New Delhi at 7 pm and reach Srinagar at 8 am. Passengers will get three types of coaches in the train. These will be AC 3 Tier (3A), AC 2 Tier (2A) and AC First Class (1A).
How much will the fare be?
If we talk about the fare of Vande Bharat Sleeper train going from New Delhi to Srinagar, then the ticket for third AC will be Rs 2000. Whereas the ticket price for second AC is estimated to be Rs 2500 and for first AC it is estimated to be Rs 3000.
