Agra is going to get two Vande Metro trains and one Vande Bharat Express soon. Vande Metro train will run between Agra to New Delhi and Agra to Lucknow. Vande Bharat will run between Jodhpur and Agra three days a week.
The fare and number of coaches of all three trains will be announced soon. Agra Railway Division is going to get two Vande Metro trains and one Vande Bharat Express. The operation of these trains will be announced just before Diwali. The Railway Division administration has been asked to make preparations. Vande Metro trains will operate between Agra to New Delhi and Agra to Lucknow.
At the same time, Vande Bharat will run between Jodhpur and Agra three days a week. Soon the fare and number of coaches and timetable of all three trains will be announced. Currently four Vande Bharat Expresses are running from the division. There is a demand for running Vande Metro train between Agra and New Delhi. This train will replace New Delhi Intercity.
Maximum speed 110 kmph
The maximum speed of the train will be 110 kmph. 1150 passengers will be able to travel in the train. The train can make two trips in a day. This will provide convenience to the passengers. The second Vande Metro train will run between Agra and Lucknow. This train will replace Lucknow Intercity. The train will operate from Agra Fort. This train will stop at all the stations where Lucknow Intercity stops.
An official of the Railway Ministry said that Vande Bharat is running between Jodhpur and Sabarmati. The number of passengers in the train is not as it should be. In such a situation, this train will be operated between Jodhpur and Agra three days a week. This will be the fifth Vande Bharat of the division. In September, the division has received two Vande Bharat. These include Udaipur and Varanasi Vande Bharat.

Aligarh: An old man troubled by illness committed suicide by coming in front of a train near Pala gate on Saturday. He was suffering from cancer for a year. Suresh of Pala Holi Chowk had mouth cancer. His son Deepak said that he was undergoing treatment at JN Medical College. But, he was troubled due to pain.
He left home late on Friday night. Early on Saturday morning, the police reported his death near Pala Phatak. The RPF team also reached the spot. Since the incident took place in Sasnigate area, Sasnigate police was called. But the relatives refused to conduct the postmortem. According to the son, the father took his own life due to being troubled by the illness.
