The weather has completely changed in Varanasi, UP. After the rain on Wednesday, the temperature has dropped and the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert on Thursday (September 26) as well.
Dark clouds have been camping in the sky of Varanasi since morning. Along with this, cold winds are also blowing at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour. According to IMD, there are chances of rain in Varanasi for 2 days from today. During this time, the temperature may decrease by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
After the rain on Wednesday, the maximum temperature has dropped to 3 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Varanasi was recorded at 33 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
BHU’s meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that due to the cyclonic storm in the Bay of Bengal, the weather of Uttar Pradesh has now changed. Due to which there is a possibility of rain in many districts of UP including Varanasi, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra. This spell of rain will continue for the next 48 hours.
