Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Jamshedpur, Jharkhand today (15 September). PM Modi flagged off 6 new Vande Bharat trains at Tata Nagar Railway Station.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat train at Tatanagar Junction Railway Station in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. At the same time, Prime Minister Modi distributed acceptance letters to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) in Tatanagar, Jharkhand. He has also released the first installment of assistance to the beneficiaries. After this, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone of Madhupur Bypass Line in Deoghar district of Jharkhand and Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot in Hazaribagh district.

During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today Jharkhand has got a new blessing of development. 6 new Vande Bharat trains, railway projects worth more than 650 crores, expansion of travel facilities and along with this thousands of people have got their own permanent house under the PM Awas Yojana, I congratulate the people of Jharkhand for all these development projects.

Tribals and poor are the first priority of the country: PM Modi

While addressing the public meeting, PM Modi said that now the priority of the country is the poor of the country. Now the priority of the country is the tribals of the country. Now the priority of the country is the Dalit, deprived and backward society of the country. Now the priority of the country is women, youth, farmers.

Foundation stone laid for Madhupur bypass line

Apart from this, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Madhupur bypass line in Deoghar district and Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot in Hazaribagh district. The Prime Minister also dedicated the Kurkura-Kanaroan doubling project to the nation. It is part of the Bandamunda-Ranchi single line section and part of the Rourkela-Gomoh route via Ranchi, Muri and Chandrapura stations. The six Vande Bharat trains that Prime Minister Modi will flag off include Bhagalpur-Dumka-Howrah, Gaya-Howrah, Deoghar-Varanasi, Rourkela-Howrah and Brahmapur-Tatanagar Vande Bharat trains. These state-of-the-art trains will improve connectivity on these routes and make it easier for people to travel. Their travel time will also be saved. These trains will help pilgrims reach religious places like Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, Kalighat and Belur Math in Kolkata quickly.

5,000 soldiers deployed for PM’s security

Tight security arrangements have been made for PM Modi’s visit to Jharkhand. Apart from the Anti-Terrorism Squad team, more than 5000 police officers and jawans have been deployed for the security of the Prime Minister. 115 inspectors, 650 sub-inspectors and ASIs, 250 armed forces, 100 additional jawans for traffic management, two teams of BDDS, three teams of Anti-Terrorism Squad, two teams of tear gas and two companies of RAP have been deployed for the program.

Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Assembly Election In-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand Assembly Election Co-In-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma, State In-charge Laxmikant Bajpai, State BJP President Babulal Marandi along with party MPs-MLAs and officials were present in this program of the Prime Minister.
