If IMD is to be believed, heavy rains are expected in the next few days, especially in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. IMD has also warned of strong winds and high waves in the sea from 28 to 30 August in the coastal areas of South Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch, due to which the sea conditions can be dangerous.

UP weather: What will be the situation
In the coming days, the series of rains will continue in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no alert of heavy rain anywhere in the state till September 2. On August 28, some parts of Western UP may receive rain and thundershowers, while there are chances of rain in Eastern UP as well. On August 29, there may be rain with thunder in Western UP, and light to moderate rain is likely at some places in Eastern UP.
A low pressure area is forming
The Indian Meteorological Department has informed in its latest information that the intensity of rain may increase in the areas of Saurashtra and Kutch. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rains in some areas till August 29, which may also increase the risk of floods. Apart from this, a new low pressure area is likely to form in the northern and central parts of the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours, which may also cause heavy rains in the coastal states.
