Recently, the board of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has approved the service agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for a period of 10 years. The company said, “The board has given its approval for the service agreement between BSNL and MTNL for a period of 10 years or until it is cancelled earlier by giving 6 months’ notice or extended by mutual consent between the two parties. Approvals will be taken on this from the Department of Telecommunications / Ministry of Corporate Affairs.”
