MP DA Hike Arrear: There is good news for more than 10 lakh employees of the state. The Finance Department will pay the arrears of dearness allowance to the employees before Rakshabandhan.
For this, the Finance Department has also made the second installment amount available to all the departments.
It is worth noting that at present the employees in the state are being given dearness allowance at the rate of 46 percent. Earlier, dearness allowance was being given at the rate of 42 percent. The dearness allowance of the employees was increased by four percent from July 1, 2023, but it was paid from April 1, 2024.
Will be given in three installments
It was decided to pay the dearness allowance from July 2023 to February 2024 in three equal installments. It was decided to pay these three installments in the months of July, August and September.
The government had issued orders to increase the dearness allowance of employees by 4 percent in March this year before the general elections. Due to the 4 percent increase in dearness allowance, employees benefited from Rs 900 to Rs 6500 in their monthly salary.
