New Delhi: If you are planning to travel by train, then there is an important news for you. Delhi PRS service will be affected on 28/29 August. PRS service includes reservation, cancellation, charting, over the counter enquiry, internet booking of Delhi PRS trains and EDR services.
These services will remain closed from 11.45 PM on 28 August 2022 to 03.15 AM on 29 August 2022. Thus, these services will be temporarily suspended for three and a half hours. Northern Railway informed that these services will remain suspended due to static and dynamic database compression activities. Please note that sometimes PRS service has to be temporarily stopped due to upgradation activities.
Third Vande Bharat train ready to run on track
The country’s third Vande Bharat Express is ready to run on the track. Nowadays its second round of trial is going on. According to railway officials, by September 15, all the trials of this train will be completed. In the first round, it was driven from Mohali to Sahnewal at a speed of 90 kmph to 120 kmph. Nowadays it is being trialled on the Kota-Nagda section. During this the speed of 180 km was achieved in this train. According to officials, this train can run at 220 kmph, but there is no track for it in the country.
Train can be run here It is believed that this train can be run between Ahmedabad to Mumbai. According to officials, the number of daily commuters running between these two cities is very high. Apart from Mumbai and Ahmedabad, some other routes are also under consideration. It also includes between Gorakhpur to Prayagraj via Lucknow.
Vande Bharat trains running right now There are two Vande Bharat trains running in the country. The country’s first Vande Bharat train was run between New Delhi to Varanasi (Varanasi Vande Bharat Express). After this, a Vande Bharat train was also run between New Delhi to Katra (Vaishno Devi). On which route the third train will run, it is not yet decided.
