UP News Live Update: The people of the state who are suffering from the scorching heat will soon get relief. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert for storm and rain has been issued in 24 districts of UP on Thursday. It has also been said that the monsoon may enter UP on 24 to 25 June.

Rain alert in 24 districts:

A red alert has been issued for severe heat wave in Etawah, Agra, Firozabad, Auraiya and its surrounding areas. There is a possibility of heat wave to severe heat wave in Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Etah, Mainpuri, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Mathura, Hathras and surrounding areas. Heat wave alert has been issued for Fatehpur Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Mau, Deoria, Basti, Gonda, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Lucknow, Barabanki, Amethi, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Kasganj, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas.

Heat wave will reduce.
According to the scientist of the Meteorological Department, the temperature will fall further in the coming 24 hours. As a result of the fall in temperature in western Uttar Pradesh stopping from 21st June and its partial increase, it is likely to continue in western Uttar Pradesh till 23rd June without any significant change. On the other hand, the fall in temperature in eastern UP will continue even after 21st June, hence there is a possibility of getting relief from heat wave here after 22nd June.
