Silver At Record Hike: The rising trend of gold and silver prices continues in India. On Thursday, May 16, 2024, silver made a new record in the futures market. This morning silver crossed a record of Rs 87,217 per kg. There was also a huge increase in the prices of gold and it remains above Rs 73,200 per 10 grams.

On Thursday, there was a tremendous rise in the price of silver on MCX and its price reached a record level. At present, in the futures market, silver remains at Rs 87,220 per kg with an increase of Rs 355. On Wednesday, silver had closed at Rs 86,865.
Tremendous rise in gold prices
Along with silver, there is also a huge increase in the prices of gold in the domestic market. Gold remains at Rs 73,216 on MCX with an increase of Rs 114. On the last trading day, gold had closed at Rs 73,102 per 10 grams in the futures market.

On Thursday, gold became costlier by $ 1.22 in Gold June Futures on COMEX and reached $ 2,392.94 an ounce. Whereas the May futures contract on COMEX became cheaper by $ 0.12 and came at $ 29.60.
