How to take your pet in the train
- You can take your dog or cat in First AC only in 2 berth or 4 berth compartment. For this you have to book these berths first.
- After this you have to write an application to the Chief Reservation Officer of the station, in which you will tell them about your pet. This application can be written in both online and offline mode.
- Before traveling by train, you will also have to get your stomach vaccinated. You cannot take your dog or cat without the vaccine.
- Please note that a passenger (PNR) can carry only one stomach in the train. You have to book a separate ticket for the pet.
- The pet owner has to reach the station about two hours before the journey so that he can show all the necessary documents like vaccine certificate, confirmed ticket, fitness certificate etc. to the station officer well in time.
- You will have to take all the responsibility of your dog or cat while traveling by train.
- Indian Railways charges separately for PET. This charge is taken per kilogram. This means that you have to pay according to the weight of your stomach. Railways charge per kilogram.
How can you take a dog or cat on a flight?
- Every airline has its own rules for carrying pets. We will tell you about the guidelines issued by Air India.
- If you want to take your stomach on an Air India flight, you will first have to take permission from the flight commander. If the commander does not give you permission, you cannot carry your stomach.
- Even if you are going on an international flight, you will have to take permission from the flight commander. Apart from this, you will also have to take permission for the pet from the country you are going to.
- As per airline guidelines, your pet must be fully vaccinated and must be in a container. The weight of the pet should not exceed 5 kg. Only if all these things are fulfilled, you can take your dog or cat in the cargo.
