Amrit Bharat Express: The Government of India is investing a lot in Railways. The entire nature of train travel is changing. From new construction of stations to announcement of new trains.
Similarly, after the success of Vande Bharat train, the Railway Ministry is emphasizing on increasing the number of Amrit Bharat Express trains. Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that 50 more Amrit Bharat trains have been approved in the country.
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off two Amrit Bharat trains on 30 December 2023. Both the Amrits launched in India are being run from Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh to Darbhanga in Bihar. The second train is being run between Malda in West Bengal and Bengaluru in Karnataka.
Know what is Amrit Bharat Express Train
Actually, Amrit Bharat Express train has been run for the common people like Garib Rath. No AC coaches have been installed in this train like Garib Rath. Along with this, the fare of this train is less as per the facilities provided in comparison to other trains. This train is being run especially keeping in mind the common people and the working class.
Through which any person can easily travel to the metropolitan cities. Powerful engines have been installed for push-pull in Amrit Bharat train. This train has engines both in front and behind. The front engine pulls the train. Whereas the rear engine works to push the train.

There is no shock in Amrit Bharat train
Charging point has been provided near every seat in this train. Bottle holder facility has also been provided to the passengers. It can be folded easily. The train has been provided with facilities ranging from CCTV cameras to modern toilet sensor water taps. Not only this, passengers do not get shocks in this train. Therefore the journey becomes very pleasant.
Amrit Bharat Express train is equipped with facilities
The engine of Vande Bharat train has been installed in Amrit Bharat train. Indian Railways has kept the color of this train saffron and grey. Amrit Bharat Express has total 22 coaches. Of which 12 are second class coaches and 8 are general class coaches. 1800 passengers can easily travel simultaneously in this train. Amrit Bharat train is a sleeper coach. It also has 2 guard compartments.
