Vande Bharat: By now almost all the states across the country have received their Vande Bharat trains. Vande Bharat trains are being launched continuously. At the end of last month, PM Modi had flagged off five Vande Bharat trains simultaneously from Ayodhya.
Now Vande Bharat train may be launched on another new route soon. Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve has said that soon Vande Bharat train will be started from Kolhapur in Maharashtra also. It is believed that a large number of passengers can benefit from this.
Let us tell you that Danve virtually flagged off the new Mahalaxmi Express train running on the Kolhapur to Mumbai route from Mumbai. During this, MPs Dhananjay Mahadik, Dhairyasheel Mane, Sanjay Mandlik etc. were present. According to local media, on this occasion Danve promised that Vande Bharat train would be started within two months.
Let us tell you that last year in 2023, Indian Railways has started 34 Vande Bharat trains. The target is to launch 60 new Vande Bharat trains across the country this year. These trains are likely to be available to 14 states and two union territories. Money Control report has claimed that Railways may get delivery of a total of 70 trains in the year 2024.
Out of these, 60 will be available before November 15, which will be run on new routes. Railways has so far identified 35 routes on which these new Vande Bharat trains will be started. Continuous studies are going on for the remaining routes.
