Ayodhya Ram Mandir: At this time, not only the country but the whole world is keeping an eye on Ayodhya. On January 22, a program is to be held in Ayodhya regarding the consecration of Ram Temple. Preparations for this have intensified in Ayodhya. There is a wave of happiness among the countrymen regarding this. There will be a half-day holiday in banks, insurance companies and regional rural banks (RRBs) on 22 January.

Earlier in the day, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order regarding central institutions and central industrial establishments. The department said in the order issued to all the ministries/departments of the Central Government, “The Ramlala Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya will be celebrated all over India on January 22, 2024.

“To enable employees to participate in this festival, it has been decided that all Central Government offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments across India will remain closed for half a day till 2.30 pm on January 22, 2024.”

DoPT order will be applicable on public sector financial institutions

In a notification of the Finance Ministry on Thursday, it was said that the DoPT order will also be applicable to public sector financial institutions and RRBs so that the employees can participate in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.

22 January- Half day holiday in banks due to the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya.

23 January- Banks will remain closed in many states due to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti.

25 January- There will be holiday in Himachal, Chennai and Kanpur due to Himachal Pradesh State Day, Thai Poosam/Mohammed Hazrat Ali Birthday.

26 January- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Republic Day.

27 January – Banks will remain closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday.

28 January- Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.

31 January- There will be a holiday in Assam due to Me-Dam-Me-Fee.
