The latest list of countries with the most powerful passports in the world has been released. India is at 80th position in this list. At the same time, not one but 6 countries occupy the top position. These countries have the power to grant visa free entry to their citizens at 194 places. The special thing is that India’s neighbor Pakistan is not even included in the top 100 countries in the list.

India has been placed at 80th position in the list. Citizens can travel to 62 countries without a visa. In the year 2023, India was at 83rd position in this list. Along with India, Uzbekistan’s name is also included in the list at 80th place. India’s another neighbor China has got 62nd ranking and along with it Papua New Guinea is also at the same position. Afghanistan is at the last place in the list of 104 countries.

These countries are included in the top 5

According to the 2024 ranking of Henley Passport Index, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore and Spain are at the first position. At the same time, Finland, South Korea and Sweden are in second place. Passport holders of these three countries get visa free entry at 193 places. Austria, Denmark, Ireland and Netherlands are in third place.

Five countries are sharing the fourth place. These include the names of Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal and Britain. Whereas, Greece, Malta and Switzerland are in fifth place.

Giant leap of european countries

2024 has brought good news for European countries in terms of powerful passports. It is said that there is a fight between Japan and Singapore for the first place in the list, but this time many European countries have succeeded in jumping. The first position includes four European countries along with two Asian countries.
