Lucknow. Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has released the list of government holidays in 2024. There will be a total of 56 holidays in 2024.
This time a holiday has also been declared on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. There will be a holiday on 23rd December on the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh. It is being told that this decision has been taken to help the farmers and Jats in Western UP.
According to the holiday list of 2024, there are 24 public holidays while 29 restricted holidays are included. Apart from this, due to closure on April 1, there will be a holiday in all banks, treasuries and sub-treasuries.

Hazrat Ali’s Birthday, Republic Day, Mahashivratri, Holika Dahan, Holi, Good Friday, Eid-ul-Fitr, Dr. Ambedkar’s Birthday, Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Buddha Purnima, Idujuha (Bakrid), Muharram, Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Eid-e-Milad/Baravfat, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra, Mahavanmi, Vijayadashami, Diwali, Govardhan Puja, Bhaiya Dooj, Chitragupta Jayanti, Gurunanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima and Christmas Day have been declared public holidays.
