There is good news for 4 thousand employees of district cadre under Panchayati Raj Department of Himachal Pradesh. Under the Sixth Pay Commission, the employees will soon get the benefit of the revised pay scale, it will be applicable from January 1, 2022, in which case the arrears will also be paid. An order in this regard will be issued soon and the amount will increase in the account in September.
In fact, recently, on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, CM Jai Ram Thakur had announced the release of revised pay scales to four thousand employees of district cadre under Panchayati Raj Department, along with panchayat watchmen who have completed 12 years of regular services. There was also talk of making daily wage earners.
After the implementation of the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission for the employees of Panchayati Raj Department, Zilla Parishad cadre, class IV employees will get a monthly benefit of 7 thousand to 8 thousand rupees under the revised pay scale. Above this categories will get monthly financial benefits of 15 thousand to 18 thousand rupees. These employees will get the revised pay scale from the month of January. Apart from this, there will also be benefit of declared arrears.
This decision will benefit 10 categories of employees of Zilla Parishad cadre. In this, the categories of Data Entry Operator, JE, SDO, XEN, Technical Assistant, Panchayat Secretary, Computer Operator, Junior Scale Stenographer, Class IV Personnel and Chowkidar will get the benefit of the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.
