Actually, State Bank of India (SBI) wants to establish its presence in Singapore and America soon. For this, banking mobile app ‘YONO Global’ will be launched by SBI, which will provide digital remittance and other services to its customers. Through Yono Global, SBI will expand its business in Singapore and America. YONO Global services are already being provided by SBI in many countries.

“We continue to invest in YONO Global to provide the best services available,” Deputy MD (IT) Vidya Krishnan said on the sidelines of the Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF). We want to provide a better experience to our customers.” The three-day Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF) will conclude on November 17. Krishnan also interacted with Singapore-based digital platform supporters as well as the local regulator and central bank, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Services in multiple countries

“Given the large number of Indian expatriates in Singapore, we are continuously working on remittances between India and Singapore,” he said. SBI currently offers ‘YONO Global’ services in nine countries. It was started from Britain in September 2019. The ‘balance sheet’ of SBI’s foreign operations is about US $ 78 billion. In Singapore, SBI will launch its ‘YONO Global’ app in conjunction with ‘Pay-Now’.
