Due to increasing crowd at stations, Railways has stopped the sale of platform tickets at many places. Northern Railway has taken this decision in view of the festivals of Diwali and Chhath Puja. Railways has closed the sale of platform tickets to control the crowd.

Let us tell you that the sale of platforms has been stopped at New Delhi and Anand Vihar railway stations. It has been decided to stop sales at these stations from 13th November to 18th November. Stampede has broken out at many stations

Festive season is going on across the country. During this period the crowd of passengers has increased considerably. Due to Diwali and Chhath, there has been a huge crowd at the railway station. Recently, an incident of stampede at Surat railway station came to light. Apart from this, the unconscious passenger also died. Apart from this, there was a stampede in the train that reached Chhapra. Many passengers suffered injuries due to falling during the stampede. Railways has taken this decision to stop such stampedes.

According to the information received from Railways, the sale of platform tickets has been banned. This will provide a lot of convenience to the passengers. With this decision of Railways, incidents like stampede can be avoided. During the festive season, only those people who are going for a journey will be able to travel at the railway station. This will also reduce the crowd at the stations considerably.

These people have got exemption

Let us tell you that platform tickets will not be sold at these stations from November 13. This ban will currently remain in effect till November 18. Let us tell you that only senior citizens, uneducated people and people coming to the stations to help women passengers are exempted. Railways has said that only those who are not able to protect themselves are being exempted from this ban.
