Now in the month of July, once again the dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent, after which it has increased to 38 percent.
It is worth noting that the increase in dearness allowance depends on the data of the AICPI index. In the latest data, keeping in mind that the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) number has been above 129 points, the dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent.

For example, if the salary of an employee is Rs 20,000, then he was getting dearness allowance of Rs 6,800 at the rate of 34 per cent. Now he will get dearness allowance of Rs 7,600 at the rate of 38 per cent. In this sense, his salary will increase by Rs 800 per month.
