Announcement of increase in additional dearness allowance by three percent
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has announced creation of 500 posts to regularize contractual teachers. Along with this, three percent additional dearness allowance was announced for all categories of teaching and non-teaching staff in KGBV, SCBAV, vocational education and BRCC.
22% increase in salary also announced
So, a 22% increase in his salary was also announced by the Chief Minister. Under the announcement, state top up will be extended to contractual teachers appointed after May 18, 2020. About 4400 employees and teachers will benefit from this.
500 teachers will be regularized
Apart from participating in the program on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, he made several announcements during the Teachers’ Day celebrations at the State Banquet Hall. In which it was said that 500 ISSE teachers would be regularised. This will affect 4900 teachers and will indirectly benefit a population of about 30000 people.
