The Haryana government has taken a major decision to restart the registry work which was stopped due to the strike of the clerks in Haryana. The government has abolished the role of clerks. The application for the registry will now go directly to the Tehsildar and from there the registry will be done. For this, the government has also made changes in the Web Harris software being used in the tehsils. Due to this the login of the clerks has been removed. At the same time, the Clerk Association has appealed to the Tehsildar Association to support the strike.

400 have been on strike since July 5 demanding basic pay and no agreement has been reached even after three rounds of talks with the government. The clerks are currently getting 19,200 basic pay. In the third meeting, an offer of 21,700 basic salary was made by the government.

Clerks adamant on demands sought cooperation from Tehsildars

State President of the Clerical Association Vikrant says that information has been received about the change in the software of the Registry. For this, the association has appealed to the Tehsildar Association to support the clerks instead of supporting the government. The association will call off the strike only after its demand of 35,400 is met.

Tehsildar Association head Dr. Manoj Ahlawat said that the government has abolished the login of RC. Now Tehsildar will be able to register directly. For this opinion is being taken from other officials. The decision regarding the registry will be taken only after everyone’s consent.

Registry work has started after updating the software. Its numbers are expected to increase from Monday. Pending registration will be done on priority.
