The process to return the stuck money to the investors of Sahara group has already started. On July 18, Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched the ‘CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal’. 7 lakh investors have registered on this portal to get back the deposited amount. At the same time, claims of a total amount of Rs 150 crore have been received so far. If your money is also stuck and you are going to claim, then it is important to know some important things.
PAN Card will be required: If the claim amount is Rs.50,000 and above, then the depositor of Sahara Sosadity will mandatorily have to provide PAN card details. This information has also been given on the Sahara Refund Portal website. Along with this, the depositor must have a membership number. Along with this, it is also mandatory to link the account number and Aadhaar with the mobile. Apart from this, the claim can be made only if necessary documents like deposit certificate and passbook are available.
Message will come on registered mobile: If your claim amount is 50 thousand rupees or more then PAN is necessary. After successful claim, an acknowledgment number will be displayed on the portal and a message will be sent to the registered mobile number of the depositor for confirmation.
Sahara Society will approve the claim within 30 days from the successful filing of the claim. Once your claim is verified by Sahara Society, your claim amount will be credited to your bank account within next 15 days. The depositor will be informed in this regard through SMS/email.
